Orascom Hotels Management is one of the biggest hotelowners and operators in the MENA region, with more than 8,000 guestrooms dispersed across Egypt, Omanand the UAE, along with other Hotels under development in Montenegro and Morocco.- Manage complete procurement functions to include pre-solicitation process, liaise with the userdepartment for clarifications if any, RFQ process, proposal evaluations, negotiations, and post-awarddiscrepancies and change orders.- Maintained current understanding of pricing structures, market conditions and trends in the industry.Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in procurement, logistics and Warehousing tomeet the objectives of the department.- Review Purchase Orders based on valid Purchase Requisitions and compliance with terms.- Analyse purchasing trends and suggest improvement measures for the overall benefit of theorganization.- Interview, hire and train personnel for procurement-related activities.- Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate.- Delegate tasks and supervise the work of purchasing and procurement agents across all departments.- Manage and prioritize supplier payments with the finance department.

- Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchaseof Materials and finished parts for production.- Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time forproduction.- Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, includingdiscount structures and volume rebates.- Foster close working relationships with associated departments e.g. Engineering and Production.- Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spending.- Supplier visits. Such visits may be at very short notice.- Implement a fixed Purchasing Process.- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials, and supplier performance.- Ensures materials, equipment, and supplies are ordered and delivered on time.- Negotiate with vendors on purchased goods and capital leases.- Updates spreadsheet of purchasing activities and costs for review.- Manage Purchasing team (5 employees)

- Buy needing materials from suppliers.- Open purchasing orders to suppliers.- Follow up materials supplying.- Negotiates pricing with new and existing vendors.

- Evaluates overall revisions, price and past performance of each contract and approves price increases.- Supervises and participates in the preparation of written financial and administrative reports.- Maintains liaison with purchasing representatives of other public jurisdictions to join in cooperativebuying when this will result in savings.
