I lead a fully remote security research and development team distributed across four continents, five countries, and seven time zones. Our team is tasked with integrating and enhancing advanced endpoint prevention, detection, and visibility capabilities into Elastic Defend, our XDR, EPP, and EDR integration built into Elastic's Security offering. I am primarily responsible for providing technical vision and guidance to senior leadership, helping build out our roadmap, planning our team's contributions for each software release, guiding feature development, and cultivating innovative applied research and development projects.
