I worked as part of a research team investigating pulmonary complications in bone marrow transplant patients. As the single biostatistician on the team, I consulted on statistical design of studies as well as performed data analyses and contributed to manuscript preparation. I also independently investigated research questions using statistical methodology.

As a graduate student I functioned in much the same capacity with the pulmonary research team, applying the statistical design and analysis techniques I was learning in my coursework to address our research questions of interest.

I collaborated with the group coordinating the NHLBI-funded Cardiovascular Health Study, primarily managing data for ancillary studies of cardiovascular disease risk factors in adults age 65 years or older.
