Conducted market research on key players in the lithium battery recycling industry across Canada and the U.S. Analyzed trends, competitive strategies, and market gaps to create a report that supported strategic planning for a hydrometallurgical recycling plant in Windsor, ON. Executed a cost projection analysis for the development of a lithium battery recycling plant and presented financial models to senior management, securing project approval. Customized the company website using WordPress to showcase the hydrometallurgical recycling process and future recyclable battery trends to potential investors.

Developed the registration pathway of YMCA with the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) for Zero Carbon Building recognition, Energy Star, and TRUE certification. Completed the ISO 50001 Ready Canada program for Yamaha's key dealers to implement an energy management system and receive official recognition from Natural Resources Canada. Developed carbon pricing mechanisms for future reporting of GHG in products and services in alignment with Yamaha’s Net-Zero emissions by 2050 goal.

Under the Department of Geography, Geomatics, and Environment, developed interventions that allow students in higher education to integrate geospatial technologies and sustainability. Designed survey, interview, and assessment instruments to inquire about students’ technology literacy and their awareness and attitudes towards sustainability. Assessed the effectiveness of the interventions regarding students’ ability to interpret sustainability-related spatial information and integrate knowledge from various fields.

Enhanced data entry operations through the update of files into databases and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. Introduced standardized labels to streamline the process for updating company training and safety files. Accurately adjusted files and emergency maps on Microsoft Excel which helped create an effective emergency response system and reduced my team's data processing errors.

Led a team of researchers in the collection of biometric and nesting habitat data to study the population dynamics of at-risk freshwater turtle species in wetlands. Handled freshwater turtles for the assessment of population parameters, including demographic composition, fecundity, and morphometric variation. Assisted with a 5-year post-wildfire assessment in Parry Sound and manual measurements of peatland hydrology. Used the data to create a spatial representation of fire prone areas and vulnerable turtle habits in ArcGIS.

Investigated the floral color preferences of bee, wasp, and fly pollinators for fall flowering plants in the McMaster Forest Nature Preserve. Collected insect pollinators using pan traps and sweep net sampling techniques for subsequent identification and characterization of the local pollination network.
