I provide written forecasts and as well TAF (terminal aerodrome forecasts) for clients of DTN. Locations are both within the United States and International, with some focus on the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean and Africa. I also am trained into the graphics and QPF desks, which concentrate on producing frontal analysis for clients as well as editing precipitation totals for our programs.

Direct cloud seeding operations in District 1 of the North Dakota Cloud Modification Project. Run and utilize C-Band radar as well as satellite and visual observations to recognize targets for rainfall enhancement and hail suppression using glaciogenic seeding methods, 24 hours a day.

I was in charge of helping coordinate balloon launches done by Valparaiso University to assist with upper level data for various weather events. We would launch into lake effect snow, severe weather as well as synoptic snow events. I filled this role with someone else, and we would be responsible for gathering volunteers and organizing a launch, as well as collecting and sending out the data once the launch was complete.
