With over seven years of experience in the education field and three years of that in an administrative role, I come with vast experience in numerous areas.While in the education field, I have served as classroom teacher for grades 6th - 12th, Athletic Director for Abbeville High School, coached various levels of cheerleading, and was twice named Teacher of the Year at the two schools I’ve worked at. Over the last seven years since graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in History and Social Studies, I have earned my Masters of Education in Gifted, Talented, Creative Instruction and have 12 hours remaining on my Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership with a focus of Curriculum Director. Although I continue to practice being a life-long learner, I have been continuously responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating events for various size crowds. I have written and received grants/sponsorships to hold these events. Beyond my experience, I am a life-long learner, who believes that to be successful at anything, relationships must come first. Students and adults don’t care until they know that we care.
