Maggie's journalism career began on September 11 2001 in New York City. Her roles over the past two decades have included: Hosting a Toronto based Radio Show; Hosting a Current Affairs News Show; Being the Executive Producer and Co-Host of a National Hosting Morning show; Hosting a Canadian Documentary Program; Co-hosting several Feature TV productions; Field Reporting; Producing News Reports; Filing News Stories; Conducting live and taped interviews; Researching; Chase Producing; Editing; Coordinating on location interviews; Supervising a team of Reporters; Coordinating Production Schedules; and Writing and Directing a Documentary. Maggie has a vast array of experience in the world of Television Production. In 2013 while on maternity leave, Maggie started a charity in the basement of her home with a group of friends called The Baby Depot. They would collect gently used baby clothing and donate them to babies in need in the community. That has now grown into a fully registered charity that serves over 250 babies a year. Now instead of operating out of her basement - The Baby Depot has its own Boutique space that families get to visit and "shop" for free for their children. Now the full time Executive Director at The Baby Depot, Maggie is focussed on growing the charity to its fullest potential. Maggie continues to look for full-time/ part-time media opportunities; speaking opportunities; and emcee's events in and around the GTA. Maggie's work in the charitable sector and her story of starting a registered charity; and her journey of being a Black woman in media are two areas she is always passionate about sharing.
