Job Duties: • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned site(s) • Develops, implements, and coordinates child/youth and community program plans ensuringthat the social/recreational needs of the children and families who visit the Club are met.• Ensures that BGC’s program standards, guidelines, and policies are followed, and thatprograms align to BGC’S mission, vision, values, and strategic direction.• Coordinates scheduling of Club staff and volunteers.• Responsible for human resources in the Club, including interviewing, hiring, training, andevaluating staff, as well as resolving discipline and grievance issues with the support of theManager.• Ensures that BGC’s operational procedures are followed, including purchasing, publicrelations, and branding, and reports any program, facility, or administrative needs to theManager.• Develops and administers an assigned operating budget, assists the Manager in keepingtrack of expenditures within the program budgets, and ensures that budget guidelines arefollowed.• Assists with resource development initiatives including supporting donor recognition,providing information for stewardship, organizing activities, and delivering presentations topotential donors.• Ensures that accurate program records, statistics, health and safety, and grant reportinginformation, etc. are compiled and submitted in a timely manner, and maintained withconfidentiality in mind at all times.• Ensures that all pertinent documents are complete, in line with current CARF accreditationstandards, and that the information is communicated to the Manager.• Works as frontline staff as needed in areas of program activities, child/youth and community program development, relationship building with children, youth, and parents, and offers high quality customer service at all times.• Oversees facility management and more.

As the Assistant Coordinator and Program Developer at the incredible youth-focused non-profit, BGC Canada, I am able to not only formulate and collaboratively design curriculum and programming, but I am also able to connect, directly influence and offer mentorship to youth in our community.

The Uplift Canada Foundation is a youth lead, registered N.P.O. that upcycles donated clothing and directly relocates them to local shelters in your area; making giving easy and enabling citizens to connect and uplift others in their community. Currently operating in British Columbia and Québec!

As a longtime volunteer of the Canadian Blood Services, I work primarily within the Donor Clinics and with the volunteer donors in a hands-on fashion. Each month, I volunteer in the clinic and provide donors with contextual information about pre and post donation protocol, as well as providing snacks as well as hydration after their donation. I have done this work with my Grandfather for as long as I can remember and it is a very special cause to me!

Chez Doris is a local, Montréal based non-profit organization that provides shelter, food, activities and future planning to female survivors of domestic violence in Montréal. Representing McGill University, I am part of a selected research team that is working for the next four months to provide detailed data and recommendations to better improve the operations and effectiveness within Chez Doris. Essentially, our central question is: How can Chez Doris become a more trans and non-binary inclusive space? Specifically, what are action-based solutions the Chez Doris team can employ that will enable their trans and non-binary clients to feel both affirmed and safe within their shelter housing? To answer these broad questions, our research team is focusing our objectives on investigating three core aspects of Chez Doris’s current system. For example, we aim to revamp Chez Doris’s intake process, revise their community pillars and provide tangible action-based recommendations through our literature review. The literature review will ultimately enable our research team to provide Chez Doris with realistic solutions to make their space, practices and services more trans and non-binary friendly. I am thankful for this opportunity to work with such a remarkable, local NPO!

The McGill Pre-Law Student Society is a student lead entity that aims to prepare and inform students in their pursuit of law school. We host multiple events and workshops per semester, specifying in the study of law and preparation for law school in both Canadian and international spheres.

Homework Zone is a non-profit, after-school organization that provides a tutoring and mentorship service to under represented youth in the greater Montreal area. As a Homework Zone mentor, I am working with students from Kahnawake (located in Kahnawá:ke on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec) once a week. As President of the United Nations Women's Association at McGill University, I am able to lead and plan weekly general and executive member meetings as well as host multiple community and nationally scaled events. Our cause strives to support the United Nations and their gender equality & equity initiatives by hosting multiple events throughout the semester. This year, I am leading our team in preparation for two major events (as well as a multitude of volunteer opportunities). The first being a virtual panel discussion event centring Taboo Topics in Women's Health (including speakers from BraveBodyCanada, BleedTheNorth and much more!). Our second event for this year was a collaborative virtual event with like-minded gender equity clubs across the nation, centred around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of 2020-2021. This was the largest-scale event our organization has ever seen and I am very thankful to be able to lead it!

The Non-Profit Organization, Meals for Milton-Parc is a Montreal based community initiative that aims to provide unhoused people in the Milton-Parc neighbourhood with food and care packages. As Community Outreach Coordinator, I am working collaboratively to source fundraising and partnership opportunities with other local and national NGO's to support this cause.

As an active member of the McGill Outdoors Club, I am able to assist in organizing and attend incredible outdoors events. From witnessing bioluminescence along the Saint-Laurence River in Tadoussac, whale watching, kayaking up the coast, waterfall hiking, ice climbing, mountain biking, downhill skiing and much, much more, being a part of this organization has enabled me to explore more of Quebec's natural landscape. I love being outside and couldn't be happier to be a part of this team!

Artistri Sud is a registered charity that provides entrepreneurship training to women artisans in developing countries. As a Programs Department Intern at Artistri Sud, I am responsible for creating, revising, adapting and implementing content of the ASSET and other programs to ensure they meet the specific needs of each location and group. Members are also ASSET trainers and coaches during the year long coaching program.

I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to bring the Model United Nations Program into my school, South Delta Secondary. While starting and leading this incredible initiative, I prepared meetings and trained our members weekly to later compete in the 2017-2018 Vancouver Model United Nations Conference. We had so much success in the club that year, that the initiative has continued to grow over the last few years, with now over triple the amount of our original members! I sincerely enjoyed founding and leading this group.

As Student Council President, I was able to foster collaborative opportunities amongst the youth in my community. From planning and hosting community fundraising events to creating volunteer opportunities for members, I was consistently able to lead this initiative with South Delta Secondary pride!

Through the Delta Youth Advisory Council, I had the opportunity to collaborate with students across the district to develop and implement various initiatives with the goal of improving student life. Whether our focus was student mental-health, engagement, or academic support, we were able to create value for both international and domestic students through our various events and programs. My responsibilities directly related to communication between my team and our respective teachers. Additionally, alongside members of DYAC selected to represent the student body, I had the incredible opportunity to present at multiple conferences over the years, including the National Education Curriculum Conference in 2016, speaking to teachers about the overall response of students to traditional teaching methods.
