Lead multi-discipline team to drive operational improvements in gas phase polyethylene production facility. Utilize six sigma methodology to evaluate key areas needing improvement, prioritize improvement activities, and sustain long term improvements.

Managed capital and expense projects for polyolefin elastomer and EPDM production units. Key role responsibilities included scope development, preparing estimates, field rep during construction and start up. Projects ranged in size from $50,000 to $800,000. Served as manufacturing representative on $10Million to $18Million projects. Led multi-discipline teams to prepare for and execute research driven plant trials. Served as local improvement lead, managing capital and expense budgets, prioritizing projects, and other improvement engineer resources.

Used skills in fluid mechanics and mixing (pump design and selection, two phase flow), heat transfer (heat exchanger design including thermosiphon reboilers), separations, and pressure relief design to develop detailed scope packages to obtain estimates of various grades throughout the project execution process. Key job responsibilities included process modeling, P&ID development, instrument data sheets, and spec sheet development. Projects varied in size from $20M to $100MM.
