As a lifelong learner, I'm proud to call the University of Findlay home. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English with a creative writing emphasis and a minor in photography in 2012 and my Master of Arts in Professional Communication in May 2022. I'm currently pursuing my Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from the University of Findlay and a certificate in narrative medicine from Columbia University in New York. I also have the privilege of working with an incredible team in the Center for Career & Professional Development.In addition to my work at UF, I’m a partner and Director of Design and Innovation at Lead Learn Coach, LLC, a strategic planning and executive coaching firm. I have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from large construction companies to local nonprofits. My current research focuses on health literacy and health communication, particularly as it pertains to women with chronic illness and/or disability. In the future, I hope to conduct further research to expand resources for students living with chronic illness and to explore the possibilities of creative collaboration across disciplines.I am an avid reader of nonfiction, a multipotentialite and a devoted dog mom.
