As the Carbon Program Product Lead at Indigo, I work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, registry-issued agricultural carbon credits at scale. Credits from the Carbon by Indigo program are backed by rigorous science, independently verified by third parties, and enable farmers to earn income for adopting sustainable practices. Carbon by Indigo is the largest carbon farming program by acres enrolled worldwide and was the first to produce verified, registry-issued ag carbon credits at scale. The Climate Action Reserve issued ~20k carbon credits to Indigo in June 2022 for purchase by our corporate customers as part of the first Carbon crop; the second crop of ~133k credits was issued in February 2023.

Worked collaboratively with stakeholders to increase the supply and diversity of native plant materials available for restoration in the Southwest. Job duties included cultivating partnerships with federal and state agencies, tribes, farmers, and conservation organizations; developing SOPs for seed collection, storage, and production; identifying regional restoration goals and seed needs for New Mexico and Arizona; training and managing field crews; providing technical support to new native seed farmers and commercial seed producers; managing a seed source and production database; facilitating workshops and conferences; and conducting applied research and on-the-ground habitat restoration.
