This includes managing the cooperative agreement and coordinating programs and partners.-Work with research and practitioner communities on social science questions important to heat and health communities, including co-leading an Extreme Heat Social Science Community of Practice for NOAA and collaborating with an interdisciplinary research community and relevant communities of practice to understand research needs and develop research agendas.-Coordinate heat equity pilot projects, such as assisting with participatory tabletop exercises across the country, publishing a Maturity Model for Heat Governance and other guides, and creating case studies with local government officials to better understand different cities' resilience capacity towards extreme heat.-As a subject-matter expert, work across partnerships at the local, state, Tribal, Federal, and international levels, to promote the transfer of knowledge and products from research to heat-related decision making.-Build educational content on heat.gov and work to better connect informal and formal educators to extreme heat-related resources -Work in the broader One Health field as needed, such as providing subject matter expertise in the fields of marine policy and youth engagement-Serve on part-time detail with assistant secretary of commerce for oceans and atmosphere and deputy director of NOAA, Jainey Bavishi, at building equitable grantmaking throughout NOAA. Also continue to co-lead a DEIJ in Equitable Grantmaking working group. -
