My responsibilities in this role primarily revolved around helping business owners create effective marketing strategies unique to their industry and business model. The Space Digital team then assisted these amazing businesses by providing marketing services that helped our clients make strong and lasting impressions online.While my role was initially focused on business development and strategy, as the Director’s replacement while on maternity leave, I also had team management and project management responsibilities.

My primary responsibility in this role was to achieve sales targets and generate revenue through meeting or exceeding customer needs and expectations through promotion of STA Travel preferred products. My responsibilities within this role were to guide groups of up to 32 passengers safely around the Greek islands. This required a great deal of organisation, time management and the ability to problem solve under pressure. This role required me to maintain excellent relationships with local suppliers, communicating any issues that arise to the operational manager and assist in making changes according to passenger needs.My achievements whilst working in this role include:- 98% excellent feedback from passengers for this summer season - Consistently exceeding sales targets for optional excursions- Being the youngest and highest rated trip manager of the season - High level planning and problem solving under pressure- Administering First Aid

Guiding tours of 50 passengers ages 18-39 around the European continent. Organising the day to day running of the trip, providing up to date local and historical information via walking and driving tours, and facilitating the social aspect and care for a wide variety of ages and nationalities; ensuring their wants and needs are met and that each and every person is having a ‘trip of a lifetime’.

Although my primary role during this time was food preparation with a special focus on adjusting the menu to the guests’ dietary requirements, I also assisted with housekeeping, stock take, food ordering, events and bar management.
