About Maggie Thomas
Overall, I believe myself to be a hard-working individual in the field of education. As a teacher, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing students learn, and be able to use it outside of the classroom. I have transitioned from teaching full-time to working at the district level with curriculum and professional development, as well as consulting for Discovery Education in the areas of STEM, science, technology and professional development/learning. I look forward to collaborating with schools to work on curriculum updates, professional development for staff in relation to new resources, teaching methods, technology integration and more. I have a strong passion for World Languages, but am excited to pursue more opportunities related to other content areas as well. I am potentially exploring the idea of transitioning to the private sector in order to share my training and professional development skills in the corporate world.
