    When I joined IIR it was to fulfill a role that was created to develop a sales team tackling sales across the borad of the UK events. I quickly gained momentum and within a year I found myself heading the European sales team. The Company gave me the opportunity to extend my skill set and earn qualifications by placing me on courses in Finance and Marketing at the Institute of Marketing. Within the company we were responsible for our own P&L and as such each division/section operated as its own company within the main company. Within the followingspace of 2 years I was made Fields Sales Manager, followed by Director which meant relocating to London and a chance to show exactly what I was capable of. I worked on their specialist product lines, including selling advertising space in their Clothing Industry Year book, Film and TV year book and Computer Year book. During my time with them I was awarded top sales person year on year and in doing so aided my sales teams to reach the lofty heights of highest revenue generators across all the journals. It's an acheivement I am incredibly proud of.
