My favorite skill I use when I work with students is asking them questions. When they approach me for guidance many times I am challenged by the very problems and situations they bring to me. I am an active listener, always aware that the best lessons are those that I learn from because the students know that what they have learned with me has an impact beyond and through themselves. As a substitute and a coach my position is to supplement the experiences teachers and other institutional leaders foster for our youth, I mediate this consciously as a young adult and growing leader in my community. I observe the students, show them respect, and learn about our developing society along with those who are building its pedagogical core.

Koru is an Immersive compressed business program. In 3 weeks I learned and practiced business skills such as excel, ROI, customer research, etc. In teams I was able to gain experience of how I flourish in the business world. By the end of the program I successfully presented a solution for a problem posed to Koru by LinkedIn. Through this experience I demonstrated my strengths as a team connector with supportive input by setting team goals and channels of communication.

-Facilitate and plan weekly leadership workshops-Plan and lead monthly club actions (ie phone canvasses, walking canvasses, and donation events)-Conduct one-on-one recruitment meetings-Manage membership base with check-on meetings and encouraging networking-Create inter-collegiate partnerships with other campuses in the LA area-Plan and direct data collection phone banks and data collection prep meetings

- Plan and facilitate aquatic skills classes for beginners, intermediate swimmers, and masters- Trained to meet the recreational needs of the city in settings beyond that of an instructor. (i.e. conducting city wide events as well as more specified events for adaptive recreation) - Coach Special Olympics Team members - CPR, First Aid, Child, Infant, and Adult AED trained

- Facilitated and planned processing group for graduating high school seniors at Gretchen Whitney High- Supervised under Debonee Morgan Ph.D.- Analyze clients and media representations through the modality of Jungian psychology
