I worked at a girls camp named Tapawingo during the summers. I learned how to balance a lot of responsibility and be punctual on a full schedule. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to work closely with many different people and campers. I learned about leadership as I worked with campers and other peers and had to maintain a rigorous schedule. I had responsibilities early in the morning through late evening with very little break. Additionally, I needed to be well versed in any different activites such as sailing, fitness, wilderness survival skills, waterskiing, and many other activites. Not only did I need to have a comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter, but I needed to be able to teach these skills to the campers of many different ages.

I knew extensive details about the products being sold, and was able to explain them to our customers as well as prepare them adequately for any trips they might be talking. I was required to know the inventory of the store as well as sort through it manually and on the computer. This job emphasized quality customer service and taught me how to interact with fellow employees and customers in a professional manner.
