Project/Program Planner and Coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness (2007-2014)Defined, developed and implemented a wide range of strategic and facilities initiatives focused on improving institutional effectiveness and process re-design.• Managed multiple teams through the programming phases of two significant research laboratory building renovation projects (approximately $40,000,000).• Defined, managed and executed a series of smaller (under $2,500,000) facilities renovation and art installation projects including facilitating the communication among a diverse set of stakeholders whose requirements were often not completely aligned with senior management expectations, or regulatory and funding constraints.• Developed a key initiative to create a second campus offsite. Analyzed alternative sites and made final site recommendation. Introduced major shift in workspace design paradigm and led concomitant change management initiative. Created/implemented operations plan at new site including project website.• Defined strategy and goals for new Office of Facilities Planning and Management (OFPM) website. Analyzed existing content. Wrote content and led design efforts for new website.• Collaborated with a peer to lead the strategic planning process for OFPM. Primary author of final strategic plan document.• Developed and implemented a multi-dimensional art program in the School of Medicine including commissioning and installing two major works of art valued at more than $3,500,000, initiating a rotating exhibit program of faculty, student and staff artwork, and launching a School wide Committee on Art sponsored by the School of Medicine Dean’s Office.• Wrote key policies, program documents, white papers and presentations for the senior leadership with little direction or advanced notice.
