As a consultant and then an employee, established a Human Resources Department for commuter airline that grew from 20 to 220 employees in this two-year time frame. Implemented their chosen Hiring/Onboarding, Time and Attendance and HR software, trained all staff and maintained the system. Developed policies and procedures, created the first employee handbook, conducted first benefits open enrollment, and performed all governmental reporting. Sole individual responsible for all aspects of the HR Department: recruitment, job offers, onboarding (background and drug tests), investigations, assisting managers with discipline and terminations, benefits, labor law compliance, employee relations and performance management.
