I started as a nurse working with children on the Neuroscience Unit at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin from May of 2008 to August 2015. Then, I worked in the Diabetes Clinic at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for almost 6 years, where my passion for working with people living with diabetes grew. I was very involved at Children's as a member of my units Partnership Council on decision making for the unit, preceptor and mentor to new employees as well as involved with the Neurology clinic. I have had the opportunity to become a research nurse as well and worked on a discharge study within Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. After being involved in the diabetes world at Children's Wisconsin, I found a true passion for diabetes technology. This led me into the opportunity of working with one of the biggest and fastest growing insulin pump companies, Tandem Diabetes. I am excited to start promoting and working with a company and product I truly love and has changed my life for the better.
