Maggie, a seasoned senior executive with 25 years of success, builds marketing and brand strategies, media planning, and corporate and crisis communications strategies that increase brand and corporate market share. Maggie is SVP at Double Forte and GM of the wine and spirits group, a practice she built from the ground up. Before Double Forte Maggie founded a digital marketing and communications agency, growing the business to profitability before merging with Double Forte in 2011. She continues to drive corporate and brand communications leadership strategies while advising wine and spirits executives on strategic industry thought leadership, crisis management, and elevated storytelling designed to build awareness and momentum for their businesses and brands. Maggie currently serves as Chair on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association New York Chapter after having served as Vice Chair. Maggie also chaired the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, contributing to a 30% fundraising growth YOY from 2021 to 2022. Maggie is a sought-after speaker on wine and spirit industry trends, media training, and digital marketing, giving the keynote speech at the 2023 Wisconsin Fresh Conference, resulting in an invitation to join the Wisconsin Wine Association Board of Directors.Prior to founding her own company, Maggie was a vice president of communications at America Online where her team developed and implemented a communications plan for the AOL-Netscape C-Suite and contributed to a successful merger. Additionally, Maggie managed the day-to-day operations of the communications team, budget, and objectives, including developing and executing the AOL West communications strategy and plan for the Netscape branded products.Her entrepreneurial spirit continued after leaving AOL, as she became an advisor to technology startups on their go-to-market strategies including Shutterfly, Mambo.com, Etime Capital, and others. Maggie completed and received a certificate from the Harvard Executive Leadership Workshop Program, and wine education certificates from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Culinary Institute of America. Maggie earned her Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University.
