The Ted Rogers Students' Society is the student-elected society that represents over 13,000+ full-time undergraduate commerce students and 30+ student groups under the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University.Our mission is to ensure that the voices of our fellow students and community are heard by providing professional development opportunities, resources, and student group events that will enrich every commerce students' undergraduate experience.I am so happy to announce that I am the International & Exchange Engagement Manager for the Ted Rogers Students' Society for the 2022/2023 academic year. I'm looking forward to the upcoming year and for all the initiatives the team has planned. Guide and support first-year international students from TMU, as well as international exchange students from the Ted Rogers School of Management's (TRSM) partner universities worldwide in order to help them transition into Canada. The position role entails working under the EDI Commissioner and Executive Vice President with the EDI Relations Coordinator to foster an inclusive TRSM community and opportunities for International and Exchange students to build a community by organizing social events, setting up workshops, public speaking, guiding students and manage buddy system (one on one mentorship system to international students)
