Metallurgical engineer with solid technical knowledge in iron ore and its agglomerates, pellets, briquettes and sinter, as well as commercial and marketing aspects of ironmaking raw materials. Experience in blast furnace integrated burden definition with effective cost approach, coordination of technical cooperation agreements, pilot plant testing, technical marketing material elaboration regarding iron ores, pelletizing, sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking, etc. When working in pelletizing plants for more than 12 years, many personal contributions were done, representing proved millions of dollars in terms of cost reduction, product quality enhancing and productivity increasing. At this time my functions were first a pelletizing process and operation engineer and later as coordinator of an interface team for PIMS and automation Level 2 implementation. My experience also includes participation in a green field pellet plant project (Vargem Grande) as the single process engineer, and brownfield projects for pellet plants equipment dimensioning (ball mills, filters, fans, furnace).
