Both require an understanding of abstract structures, a sense of aesthetics and a constant learning process. To learn a new programming is a bit like learning a new style of music or music from a new composer. To be able to perform you need to learn the unique idiom, aesthetics and stylistics of the new language/style of music. I really think my experiences from working with music has made me a better developer.When not working I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, read books (fiction as well as nonfiction) and going to theatre and concerts. In Uppsala I've been involved in "Kulturernas karneval". A cultural festival which purpose is to highlight and celebrate society's diverse range of cultures and artistic expressions. This work has been very rewarding and stimulating.
