As a Guest Service Agent I was responsible for welcoming the guests to the hotel as well as handle the check-ins and check-outs, of both individual arrivals and larger groups. While working at the Front Desk I was in charge of taking care of guest requests and to process them in a timely manner. Other responsibilities are room allocation of the arriving guests and keeping guest records safe.

I completed a six month´s internship with Water Library Hospitality Group in Bangkok, Thailand. I was working with their marketing department and performed different tasks such as developing and analyzing online marketing efforts, developing and maintaining a social media strategy and handling basic client contact thru our various online channels. I was also involved in event planning and different tasks connected to the success of the event´s.

During this six month´s internship I had an opportunity to work back of house and assist Verandan´s restaurant manager in day to day operations as well as work in the restaurant as a head waiter.In the restaurant my duties ranged from taking reservations, overlooking the restaurant, greeting and seating guest and assisting my colleagues waiting tables. I also got a chance to work in the hotel´s Banquet department during Grand Hotel´s annual Christmas show.

During my time at Sheraton Stockholm I was a part of their Food and Beverage team and got a chance to experience a variety of positions. I was mostly working in the hotel restaurant during breakfast and lunch where my duties ranged from clearing tables, taking guests orders and assisting colleagues with different tasks. I also had a chance to work with their banquet department during different events or functions, here my tasks was ranging from serving food or drinks during the functions to actually help with the set-up for the event. I was also given the chance to work as a night-time roomservice attendant.
