For over 25 years, I have worked in marketing and sales in leading positions within both B2B and B2C. I have worked at international headquarters, local sales companies, and on the agency side.This has provided me with valuable experience and understanding of the differences and similarities between various markets, industries, and corporate cultures, among other things.One of my strengths lies in my broad knowledge of marketing, rather than having a specialized niche area.As a marketing manager and in similar roles, I have had the privilege of working across many different areas, including digital, analog, events, launches, campaigns, etc. I have also had the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally. In this way, I have continuously broadened and developed my skills. This has also contributed to my ability to see and understand the bigger picture rather than just focusing on one part of the challenge.I would also say that another of my strengths lies in my leadership, in creating effective teams, and in getting different people and departments to collaborate.My leadership style is closely tied to who I am as a person. I am active, positive, and unpretentious. For me, it is important to create teams where everyone feels involved and engaged, while also having clear goals for the business. To create a good team spirit and a good work environment, I have four guiding principles that I always try to adhere to: 1) I always try to lead by example. 2) I trust people until proven otherwise. 3) I want colleagues to grow professionally, take responsibility, and feel empowered to do so. 4) Make time to have fun at work. I truly love being where things are happening and being able to influence and make a difference. I love developing strategies just as much as I love being hands-on and executing those strategies. I love leading and coaching, and I love teamwork.In the next step of my career, I would like to continue to work in a leading role in marketing/sales or as CEO, Managing Director, Country Manager or similar.
