Manager R&D, Launch, High Volume Maintance Project Management

• In 2007 I got the opportunity to move to Taipei to establish and build a new launch project office, focusing on ODM products. This included defining new roles, hiring and training of new employees and target setting and budget responsibility for new organization.• When complete I was a manager of a team consisting of 5 R&D project managers, 5 launch project managers and 2 high volume project managers. And, reporting to Head of R&D and Program management.• I was also process owner for the R&D, Launch and High volume ODM/JDM project model. Part of this responsibility was to re-design and implement a new project model to be use by all ODM projects. The new development model was based on Ericsson’s project model (i.e. PROPS).• Develop and maintain relation with our external partners in order secure delivery according agreed cost, quality and time targets.• All projects have been executed in multi-national environment, especially in co-operation with Asian, Latin American and American partners (Foxconn, Compal, Flextronics, Microsoft, and Qualcomm etc.).• As the line manager I perform tasks including performance management of the employees, recruitment, salary setting, budgeting and operating expenses follow up.
