Part of an innovation project in cooperation with E.ON Future Lab and UnternehmerTUM GmbH from April to August 2020 to develop business ideas that support energy access in disadvantaged areas. As a result the team developed 2 verified idea concepts addressing the most promising customer groups.Conduction of over 40 interviews and of a survey with more than 450 participants to draft 6 customer personas. Prototyping of 2 ideas to address the identified customer´s needs and problems, including a landing page, app-dummy, demo video and value proposition testing with customers in parallel.

The MedInnovate innovation fellowship aims at a step-wise approach to identify unmet medical needs, and design innovative solution concepts and business cases to boost the startup culture in Germany and the European Union. Based on the successful BioDesign process, medical technology and solutions in the area of BioEngineering are addressed by following a needs-driven framework:- Clinical immersion at Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich in the Department of Neuroradiology.- Interviews with 20+ physicians, nurses, and patients and observations of 40+ clinical procedures- Use of rapid prototyping methods to create prototypes- Multiple presentations for evaluation and feedbackResult: VizCare - Re-thinking health care in Multiple SclerosisWe have developed software that uses virtual reality glasses to test the visual abilities of MS patients in a gamified way so they can record and track their disease progression. This allows them to adjust their disease management accordingly to prevent adverse effects and improve their health as well as quality of life.
