Magothe Innocent is a serial entrepreneur, mentor, trainer and speaker. Starting his entrepreneurial journey at a young age he has been able to form and create impact by participating and being part of various ventures.He is a co-founder of Startinev, a startup facilitator whose mission is to create a thriving community for entrepreneurs in Africa by providing a supportive setting in which they may learn, interact, and develop. Magothe and his team have been able to plan more than 50 partner events, spanning from entrepreneurship to technology events, 1 TechStars Startup Week and 4 TechStars Startup Weekends - 54-hour exhilarating experience that helps entrepreneurs to create their firms.Magothe Innocent also serves as a mentor for a number of organizations that support students and entrepreneurs on their business endeavors. He is currently a mentor at the Tellus initiative, where he helps up to 1000 African entrepreneurs. He is also a mentor at iBiz Africa at Strathmore University, mentoring women led startups under the Standard Chartered Women in Tech Cohort 5 program.Magothe donates his leisure time to charity and has volunteered for more than 4500 hours at over 45 children's homes. He has been able to assist children and vulnerable communities as a member of the Champions of Change foundation through outreach initiatives in schools and the Hiking for a Cause initiative, which has helped raise money for a variety of charitable causes to support children's education and end period poverty.Magothe Innocent is also a member of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry's digital desk, where he has helped design programs and policies for Kenya's tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as launch the chamber's Attic chapter under the Youth in business faction. The Attic branch now has over 50 entrepreneurs as members, and a second such chapter has since been formed with 37 entrepreneurs.
