I am a registered nurse of California, and a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). I have mastered the technical standards upheld by Samuel Merritt University which include patient care, intellectual-conceptual skills, and professional expectations. I have interpersonal skills suitable for interactive careers in Human Relations, Communications, and Medicine. I have a desire to work in hospital, clinic, correctional settings, and abroad.In working as a FNP my aim is to bridge the gap between healthcare and equitable culturally-competent care. I eventually plan to continue my education and experience to attain a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), and specialize in Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (PMHN). I want to be a part of bringing life into the world, and I want to educate the women, men and children I work with on how they can nurture themselves and future generations in the best ways possible.
