I work across the cultural and creative industries, education, the voluntary sector and with artists and makers. I support organisations and individuals with all kinds of admin and project management work, including writing funding applications, organising events, setting up social media accounts, recruitment of artists and freelancers and board development.

I contribute to strategic planning, festival programming and development and recently supported the festival through its' successful CIO application.

I co-wrote a £500k European funding bid to support the development of workspaces for creative businesses at MAP Charity’s building, Hope Foundry, Leeds.

I managed a project to restore a mural which was painted by Chilean refugees in 1976, including contracting an artist, running community and student engagement events, press and publicity, budget management and reporting to funders.

I led the Arts & Regeneration team, combining strategic planning and hands-on project management while supporting the development of artists, arts organisations and community groups in Leeds. The annual Arts & Regeneration programme included the £2.5m arts@leeds grant scheme, Black History Month grant scheme, Light Night, Breeze International Youth Festival and Leeds Holocaust Memorial Day as well as smaller events and projects for young people and the community. I also managed a £600,000 multi-arts project with 12 cultural organisations based in ERDF Objective 2 areas of Leeds.

As Chair, I organised several public and training events, for which I fundraised and budgeted. I increased and stabilised membership, formed a coherent team, and managed the design and delivery of a new LVAF website. As Treasurer, I was a signatory of LVAF’s bank account and was responsible for financial management.

I devised educational activities linked to Pavilion’s core artistic programme and wrote several successful funding applications in this post.

I managed the Agency during its 2-year pilot period working closely with artists and schools to develop high quality cross-arts education activities, training and a conference. I managed budgets and successfully fundraised and set up strategic partnerships to embed the Agency within the Wakefield district.

I managed the information service which provided artists on the Axis database with work and exhibition opportunities. I was key contact for a new web-based resource featuring new and current visual arts projects throughout the UK. I presented Axis to new audiences of artists, graduates and arts professionals.
