Executive director at Arts Council England with leadership of communication, EDI, workforce development and policy for creative health and wellbeing. Arts Council England invests in, develops and champions the arts, museums and libraries. I lead our communication teams, responsible for telling the story of the value of culture while building dialogue with our audiences. I also lead a group of public policy professionals looking after equality, inclusion and social mobility; skills and leadership in the cultural workforce; and the contribution of arts and culture to health, wellbeing and the criminal justice system. How we all develop our capabilities, fulfill our purpose and live a life full of meaning matters. In support of this, I am a governor of Wiltshire College and a supporter of Speakers for Schools. I believe in my own career-long learning and am currently studying for a professional doctorate focused on leadership communication at the Institute of Policy Research, University of Bath. I have a Masters in Public Administration from LSE, and post graduate diplomas in marketing and journalism studies. I am also a professionally certified coach.
