As the Centre Manager at the Fr. Peyton Visitor Centre, Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM), Ireland, I oversee daily operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission. Managing the Centre’s facilities, including accommodation at the Melody Residence, while coordinating events. I lead a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative environment, and engage with community partners. Additionally, I oversee financial stewardship, manage social media and digital resources, and represent HCFM at national and international forums, in Boston USA, Notre Dame University and 28 Centres around the globe .

The Celtic Interconnector Community Benefit Fund has been established by EirGrid to recognise the important role of local communities who are hosting this grid infrastructure and to acknowledge the temporary disruption which may be caused within proximity of the cable line during the construction phase of the project, in association with Independent fund administrator SECAD Partnership CLG.The fund has a total value of €2.4million euro which is released in three phases, when construction begins, mid-way through the project and when the project is energised.As a public representative on the community administrative fund forum, it is our aim to increase public and environmental wellbeing in the community and to leave a positive legacy in the communities hosting EirGrid this grid infrastructure.

For over a decade, Mayo North Tourism, (co founded by Ballina Town Council/Municipal District Council and Ballina Chamber of Commerce, with contract delivery of services by Moy Valley Resources), acommunity-driven organisation has been dedicated to creating sustainable tourism initiatives that not only attract visitors from around the world but also enhance the lives of residents.
