Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade is the fire and rescue services organization for 10 municipalities, the capital Stockholm included, that serves around 1.2 million people within the Greater Stockholm region.Parallel with being Head of Department, member of the management team and CSO (Chief Security Officer) I served as Assistant Chief Fire Officer for the greater Stockholm region, taking over the responsibilities of the acting Fire Chief. Until 2010 I also served as Incident Commander on major incidents. I was Project Manager for large management projects such as an evaluation of the organization of Gotland Fire and Rescue Services and as head of International Relations I was in charge of a project assessing a future cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Azerbaijan. I was also in charge of developing the strategic planning documents of the organization.

In 2009 the organization merged with Södra Roslagen Fire and Rescue Services and formed Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade. I was responsible for starting up a new department focused on community based risk and crisis management, set up to support the municipalities and the work of their CSO:s. I also served as Incident Commander on major incidents within the Greater Stockholm region.

In 2009 the organization merged with Stockholm Fire Brigade and formed Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade. Parallel with being Head of Department and member of the Management Team I served as Incident Commander as well as Staff Officer in the Rescue Coordination Center, of which I was Head of Department during 2007. I also served as Project Manager for several large management projects such as the forming of Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade and the merge with Värmdö Fire and Rescue Services.
