I am responsible for all areas of production control for defined value streams. Tasks include preparing jobs, rough cut capacity planning, and job maintenance (status, quantities, dates, etc.)I lead all the material planning activity, including ordering direct material required for production, managing supplier purchase order acknowledgement process, expediting/ de-expediting, communicating with suppliers as needed.I also Negotiate price, delivery and terms with suppliers. Assists sourcing functions through identification of new suppliers to meet customer requirements and internal supplier measurements.I lead internal Supplier Quality initiatives through mediation between company and supplier to identify root cause, corrective actions, and timely completion.
