I am a highly skilled teacher with over 13 years of experience in a variety of grade levels from preschool through middle school. As a committed and motivated educator who has worked with a wide variety of students, I am dedicated to helping all students reach their fullest potential. Over the years, I have consistently worked to create a classroom environment that is fresh and yet builds on past successes, so that I am always focused on making every lesson or learning experience better than it was before. I clearly communicate my expectations for all projects and provide students tools, such as rubrics so that students know how to meet and even exceed my expectations.I have also worked as an insurance professional. I started in underwriting, then moved to claims, and then I was promoted on to supervise the support staff in the claims office. I am a professional who manages my time effectively and focuses on my job throughout the day. I am organized and follow through on commitments. I enjoy working with people, listening to and helping others, solving problems, and making a difference in the world. I am currently exploring a new career change.
