Currently working as a Science Lab Incharge & Advanced Practical Skills Teacher (AS Level) at Hira Foundation School (full time).Online A Level Biology teacher (part time).Teaching is my passion. As a teacher, I consider myself as highly motivated, responsible and dedicated. I have good communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful relationship with students. I also have good computer skills; can handle digital teaching tools effectively. I am resourceful with a good command on the subject and an aptitude to remain flexible ensuring to meet sudents’ diverse learning styles and abilities.Recently completed MPhil in Molecular Medicine from Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine & Drug Research, ICCBS, University of Karachi. As a research fellow at Molecular Biology & Human Genetics Lab, we worked on genetics of human obesity in Pakistan.Expertise:Literature review, Anthropometry, DNA & serum isolation, gel electrophoresis, biochemical assays, SNP genotyping (real-time PCR), handling of large data & data analysis using SPSS.Publications: Research article entitled "Association of NEGR1 rs2815752 with obesity and related traits in Pakistani women" was published internationally by Taylor & Francis in Upsala Journal Of Medical Sciences, Sweden.
