Electrical Engineer
• Participation and observation with the maintenance team Gas turbine electrical generator, emergency stand-by generator, UPS, solo run motors, lubrication, and cooling loop oil system.• Engaged to participate in research related to a solar plant project aimed at mitigating carbon footprints. This involved conducting in-depth research on topics such as Net-Zero, renewable energy, greenhouse gases, climate change, global warming, solar systems, bi-directional net metering, and types of solar panel installations. • Research participation in gas turbine drive replacement with an electrical drive. This involved conducting in-depth research on topics such as AC induction motor, Gas turbine, Variable frequency drives, and the difference between Gas turbines and Electric Motors. • Creating and analyzing cable sizing calculations, load list, single line diagrams, and conducting megger tests for motors.• Knowledge in safety instrumented system (SIS), safety instrumented function (SIF), and safety integrity level (SIL).• Comprehensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle, including front-end engineering design (FEED) to detailed engineering, and the associated workflow processes.• Acquiring Knowledge in Valves Actuators, I to P converters, pressure and temperature transmitters, and motor starters.• Gaining an overview of HMI, SCADA, PID controllers, PLCs, DCS, ESD, PSD, and control panels.
