With over 30 years of experience in the Egyptian petroleum sector, I have developed a strong reputation for leadership, strategic vision, business development, and international cooperation. My career began in the Technology department, where I introduced cutting-edge technology to Egypt's Oil & Gas sector. Transitioning to the Minister's Technical Office, I excelled at building, growing, and managing diverse functional and cross-cultural teams, supported by translating complex data into actionable insights. I have contributed to significant turnarounds in the vision and culture of Egypt's Oil and Gas Sector and led major initiatives and strategies, including national strategies, the oil & gas transformative Modernization program, and promoting Egypt as a regional energy leader.Shifting from strategy at the ministry to the executive side at the Egyptian natural gas holding company (EGAS), I have worked across various areas, including foreign trade activities, LNG export, gas import regulations and licensing, energy transition roadmap, and company process optimization. Currently serving as an associate vice chairman for economic affairs and foreign trade, I have significantly contributed to the sector's growth, established key strategies, and led impactful initiatives.I have also participated in leadership programs to continuously improve my skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
