The Resettlement Support Center Asia (RSC Asia), funded by the US State Department Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), assists individuals across Asia in seeking permanent resettlement in the United States. RSC Asia manages a portfolio covering 37 countries and is responsible for preparing refugee applications for the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) using START, a data system that supports refugee resettlement. The center also provides information to resettlement agencies and offers cultural orientation training to refugees. RSC Asia operates from Bangkok, Thailand, with a sub-office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Job Overview/Summary:The Senior Case Processing Officer (SCPO) is responsible for managing case processing for USRAP and maintaining quality control. The role includes overseeing task delegation, supervising temporary staff, and coordinating with various stakeholders like USCIS, IOM, and resettlement agencies. The SCPO ensures data accuracy, manages communication between teams, and provides training to staff. Additional duties include generating progress reports and performing other tasks as assigned, with potential backup responsibilities for the Case Processing Manager (CPM).Major Responsibilities:Assist in managing task delegation and monitoring work completion.Supervise and provide feedback on the performance of temporary staff.Maintain quality control of USCIS-adjudicated cases and data in START.Act as a liaison between RSC, USCIS, IOM, and resettlement agencies.Manage follow-ups on post-adjudicated cases, including medical and departure updates.Ensure error-free data entry in compliance with USRAP guidelines.Coordinate daily assessments, quality control, and updates across various units.Generate progress reports for the Case Processing Manager.Provide training and guidance to staff and perform other related duties as needed.

Learn and implement established Resettlement Support Centre (RSC Asia), Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and Refugee Processing Centre (RPC) policies and procedures.

# Conduct training to the staff of IRC, sectoral level, and partners on protection mainstreaming, accountability to affected populations, gender-based violence, disability inclusion, gender mainstreaming, and disability inclusion mainstreaming to ensure mainstreaming protection in humanitarian programs.# Ensure training plans and reports are prepared including donor reports, sitrep(5w) reports, monthly reports, etc.# Ensure data collection and data analysis, planning, evaluation, and advocacy working closely with the Senior Protection Manager and the Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team# Develop and Adapt existing tools to ensure up-to-date and technically sound mechanisms are in place for the protection mainstreaming program# Support the protection mainstreaming officers to conduct field visits to partner sites, areas of operation, centers, and other areas where IRC conducts activities to offer support# Monitor and share protection trends analysis report with the higher authorities of the programme.# Utilize digital data collection systems based on smart-phone handsets for data collection using KoBo, Commcare software and ensure the data security protocols are in place and under observation.# Timely raise for and contribute to the update on the protection monitoring tools (including FGD, KII, and site observation forms) used to carry out protection monitoring activities.# Conduct mobile field visits to identify individuals at risk and humanitarian needs according to the monthly work plan.# Conduct field visits to partner sites, areas of operation, centers, and other areas where IRC conducts activities to provide technical support to ensure protection mainstreaming# Provide technical mentorship, on-the-job mentoring and coaching ongoing training and targeted technical capacity building, conduct protection mainstreaming assessment, reviewing protection mainstreaming action plan.
