About Dev Rokade
I am a Ph. D. student at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland), working under the supervision of David Rush and Tim Stratford in the BRE, Fire research group. During my studies, I will primarily work on concrete in the cooling stage. I have completed my master’s in structural engineering, with the collaboration of CSIR-CBRI, Roorkee (Fire Research Group). During and after my master’s, I was involved with Asian Energy Services Limited, Mumbai as a project engineer to develop India’s First Jet Fire Test facility. I have also worked with Ocean marine environmental coating private limited as R and D department at quality control executive to develop unique fire resistance materials for defence industry.
