The Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (I-AIM) Health Care Center is a key initiative of Transdisciplinary University and is part of the School of Health Sciences. It is a state of the art NABH accredited 100-bed AYUSH Hospital with in-house diagnostic unit and recognized as a Centre of Excellence and is supported by the Government of India. It caters to approximately 25000 patients annually, of which 25% are economically challenged patients given either free or subsidized treatment. We also conduct regular outreach medical camps in collaboration with our network centers in rural pockets. I-AIM has established a clinical research facility with a vision of evolving an integrative model of healthcare pivoted in Ayurveda by suitably combining advanced clinical research methodologies with the scientific integrity and wisdom of Ayurveda. The Clinical Research programs are aimed at enhancing the evidence base of Ayurveda, such as developing documentation protocols integrating Ayurveda with biomedical diagnostic tools, observational studies for prioritized disease conditions and developing guidelines for reporting clinical trials in Ayurveda and Yoga. I-AIM is also developing SOP’s for integrative clinical practice.
