Representation in the money space matters — for so long women+ of color have been waiting for a seat at the money table. I got tired of waiting and built my own to welcome a seat for women of color, diverse communities and allies at Modern Wealth Collective. I'm passionate about working with high-achieving business owners and first-gen wealth builders professionals feel more aligned in their money journey, create opportunities for impact and break wealth barriers. With a client, heart-centered approach, I bring the much needed perspective to an industry that has overlooked diverse communities for far too long. There is power in money, and making the wise decisions with what to do with it should not have to be done alone. PURPOSE. YOU are why Modern Wealth Collective exists. I firmly believe my purpose also lies in the communities that we serve. I am a proud daughter of Filipino immigrant parents. It was through their own resilience and dreams that inspired my entrepreneurial journey. After graduating from the University of San Diego, I started my career in 2007; in 2018, opened my own financial planning firm in my hometown of San Diego. As a boy mom of 3, being a successful founder and embracing my multi-passionate love for life, I understand the value of time currency. Money may not buy happiness, but it helps us fund what’s important and be more intentional about how we spend our time. When I'm not working, you'll find me in my other element: advocacy and impact work, especially for the environment, women and financial education. I LOVE to travel (including eating my way through the places I visit), meeting new people, hiking, the beach and cozying up to a good book.
