About Mahalia Thomas

I'm Mahalia, I am a PhD Student at the Europa University Viadrina, where I am conducting research on Radical Right Parties, Militant Democracy, and Hate Speech. Previously, I worked at Population Europe (MPIDR) as a Project Coordinator focusing on social media and email marketing, event planning, and supporting demographers across Europe. I graduated from New York University in 2020, where I completed my Master's of Art in Comparative Politics. While throughout my academic career, I have harnessed important skills in quantitative and qualitative research, my work experiences have allowed me to develop additional skills in UX, event planning, and project management.
