CurrentChecking and setting up the anesthetic machine⯑ Preparing intravenous drugs⯑ Preparing intravenous therapy administration equipment⯑ Preparing a range of devices to maintain the patient's airway (e.g. laryngeal masks, endotracheal tube)⯑ Communicating with the patient when they arrive into the operating theatre⯑ Collect and document patient’s pre-anaesthetic health histories⯑ Verify the identity of patient or operative site⯑ Establish peripheral intravenous access⯑ Applying anesthetic monitoring to help assess the patients' condition whilst under anesthesia. This mayinclude electrocardiography (ECG), blood pressure and oxygen saturation devices.⯑ Inducing and maintaining adequate anesthesia.⯑ Adjust maintain operating room temperature, humidity, or lighting, according to surgeonsspecifications⯑ Establishing and assisting in securing an airway management interventions including tracheal intubation,fiber optics, or ventilator support⯑ Assist anaesthesiologists in performing anaesthetic procedures like epidural, spinal anaesthesiaprocedure, local and nerve blocks⯑ Administer anaesthetic, adjuvant, or necessary drugs under the direction of an anaesthesiologists⯑ Monitoring and maintaining patients' vital signs and anesthesia depth.⯑ Temperature monitoring and regulation.⯑ Collection and analysis of patient (blood) samples.⯑ Acquiring and administering transfusion fluids and equipment.⯑ Assist team members to place position patient on table⯑ Assist members of surgical team with gowning or gloving⯑ Disinfect incision sites to prepare patient for surgery⯑ Cover patients with surgical drapes to create maintain a sterile operative field⯑ Monitor maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures⯑ Obtain or inspect sterile or non-sterile surgical equipment, instruments, or supplies⯑ Count sponges, needles, and instruments before after operation
