Mahan Doğrusöz has had her BA in psychology from Bogazici University in 1992 and her MA in Gender Studies from Istanbul University in 1999.She was trained as a self psychologist by the Anatolian Psychoanalytic Association in collaboration with the Chicago Psychoanalytic Association and as a psychodrama co-therapist by Istanbul International Zerka Moreno Institute.She worked with GfK Turkey team between 2000-2018. She is specialised in brand image, concept development, lifestyle research and corporate reputation. She has carried out more than a thousand focus groups, in-depth interviews, in-home visits and also run workshops for a wide range of sectors such as FMCG, communication, retail, finance, insurance, IT, cosmetics, media, transportation, jewellery, pharmaceutical , automotive, baby nutrition, higher education and tobacco along with NGOs and International Organisations such as the World Bank.Frequently worked clients are Ferrero, PG, Unilever, Nestle, Spinach, Dr. Oetker, Quantum, Pernod Ricard, Mastercard, ING Bank, Akbank, Denizbank, Borusan Otomotiv, Karcher, Vodafone, De Facto, Estee Lauder, PVH, Rönesans Holding, Eczacıbası.Her book: Freud and Sexism was published by Agora Publishing Company in 2016.She is a bibliophile with passion for history, archeology and psychoanalysis writing her own blogs: mahandogrusoz.net and eternalcityistanbul.comShe is one of the co-founders of Sentinus Market Research Company.
