As the medication safety pharmacist at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, I work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines across our hospitals, community services and GP practices. I undertake reviews, audits, incident investigations, and provide education and training to staff and patients on medication safety issues. I also support the development and implementation of policies, protocols, and guidelines to improve the quality and efficiency of pharmacy services.In addition to my NHS Trust role, I am an independent prescriber and a primary care clinical pharmacist, offering consultations and bespoke services to patients and organisations in various settings. I have completed multiple postgraduate courses, gaining advanced knowledge and skills in pharmacotherapy, pharmacology, and pharmacokinetics. My goal is to continue to enhance my professional competence and contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction.
