My responsibilities:Greet a warm and hospitable welcome to all guests in the lobbyEscorting guests to their rooms and do an In-Room OrientationEngaging with guests and encouraging feedback on the stayTo have an in-depth knowledge of the hotel’s products to beable to maximize revenue by capturing all opportunities.Efficiently manage email correspondence,feedback,complaintsand telephone requestsEnsure lobby presence and assist the front Office teamReport and follow up on the maintenance of any damaged orout-for-repair equipment in the department.Assist in booking hotel limousines or arranging taxis for theguests.Update and file Errand sheets are filled in for all baggagemovements (Check-in, Check-out, Left luggage, and storage)Checks the daily arrival list for VIP's or guests with special need.Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage have beenverified in an efficient and timely manner.Always acknowledge guests by name.Executes a seamless handover during Shift Changes, ensuring aSmooth transition in providing Sensational Service.Ensure lobby, main porch and buggies are clean and tidy at alltimesTakes ownership of guest’s requests and needs and ensureimmediate action as appropriate.Follow department policies, procedures and service standardsDemonstrated ability to deal with different types of guestssome of whom require a high level of patience
