Currently employed as an AI and ML Instructor at Norquest College, I bring a wealth of experience from various academic positions. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada, and as an Instructor of Information Security at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). In these roles, I facilitated courses encompassing diverse topics such as computer forensics, operating system exploitation, and payment card industry encryption, conducting hands-on labs utilizing tools like Wireshark, Security Onion, and Autopsy, among others. Additionally, I instructed on security policies including ISO 27K, NIST, and COBIT.Before relocating to Canada, I held positions as an Assistant Professor and Head of Computer Science at the American International University-Bangladesh, a premier institution in Bangladesh, where I crafted innovative curriculum materials for computer science subjects. Prior to that, I served as an Assistant Professor at Green University of Bangladesh. With over five years of teaching and research experience in both Bangladesh and the United Kingdom, I also worked as a Lecturer at Northern Regional College, UK.My academic journey includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Bournemouth University, focusing on the development of a smart/intelligent bed system capable of identifying and preventing pressure ulcers in real-time based on patient physiology and mattress characteristics. Additionally, I served as a researcher and Associate Lecturer at Southampton Solent University, and I hold a Certificate in Teaching qualification with distinction (1st Class) from the University of Ulster, UK.
