• Data Centre support and solution, installing and configuring network devices and servers, performing network maintenance, deployment, and system upgrades.• Install, terminate, and label network cables, including copper and fiber optic cables.• Conduct cable testing using appropriate tools and equipment (Cable testers, OTDR).• Identify and troubleshoot cable faults, including breaks, and signal degradation.• Supporting ticket-based incident and problem management services in data centers, troubleshooting network infrastructure.• Repair or replace faulty cables and connectors to restore network connectivity.• Maintain accurate records of cable installations, configurations, and changes.

• Experience in Ethernet, IP Communications, LAN, WAN, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, VPN, LACP, L2, L3, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP configuration and troubleshooting. • Monitor Network Infrastructure using multiple tools (SolarWinds, Cacti Nagios, Grafana, Wanguard, LibreNMS, Zabbix). • Handle and resolve customer complaints and manage ticketing system (Prism ERP). • Interact with multiple vendor Routers (Cisco, Juniper & Mikrotik), Switches (Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, GCOM, BDCOM, Quanta).

• Monitor the IT service desk management tools and network security solutions.• Investigate and resolve common IT support incidents and standard service requests• Prioritise and respond to support issues and escalate more complex problems to senior colleagues. • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems, following standard processes to create user accounts and assigning file access permissions. • Assist with installing new software, hardware, systems and upgrades.• Maintain ICT policies and operating manuals/procedures.• Support the IT contractor and service provider to troubleshoot IT issues. • Assist the IT Coordinator with the training of staff and students on various programmes.
